Depending on the goals you've discussed with Michelle, a topical numbing cream may be applied to your skin 30-45 minutes before your MOXI treatment. During the treatment, the the Moxi laser glides across your skin, you may feel a slight warming sensation, which only means the laser is doing its job. During the typical 8-10 minute treatment, some individuals might want to request the use of cold air which, in combination with the numbing cream, should keep you quite comfortable.

Your MOXI post-care regimen is simple: wear a moisturizing physical sunscreen and stay out of the sun. The day after your treatment, your skin may appear somewhat red, and, depending on your level of treatment, you might see the small micro dots called "mends" where the laser was used. As these microzones heal, they may darken and feel rough. Around days three to five, the skin should peel away, revealing fresh skin.
